When you use the App, you are signed in anonymously. The App assigns your device an anonymous identifier so your information stays separate from other users. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity.
The content you create in the App — such as your goal, your daily steps, whether you have completed them, and your progress counts — is stored so the App can function. This content is saved using Google Firebase (Firestore), a service provided by Google.
We use Google Firebase to operate the App. Google may automatically collect certain technical information, such as device type, app usage data, and crash reports, and may process your IP address, to provide and secure these services. How we use information:
We use this information only to provide and maintain the App's features, to keep your data separate from other users, and to keep the App running reliably and securely. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Data storage and retention:
Your content is stored on Google's servers through Firebase. Because the App does not require a login with a name or email, your information is tied to your device's anonymous app session. If you delete and reinstall the App, or sign out, that session's data is not recoverable. You can delete individual steps within the App at any time, and you can remove your data entirely by uninstalling the App.
Children's privacy:
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
